The charts on this page show our model investment portfolio performance compared to the performance of the stock market (represented by the S & P 500) and a basic 60% Stocks / 40% Bonds portfolio. The first graph tracks the performance of the portfolios we have recommended over that last 8 years. It includes a portfolio based on the best Fidelity Mutual Funds, our Model ETF Portfolio, and the Top No Load Mutual Funds Portfolio. The second graph tracks the hypothetical performance of our Asset Allocation Model Portfolios since 2003, when we started this newsletter. The third graph is similar to the second, except that it tracks the hypothetical performance of our Asset Allocation Model Portfolios since 1999. These investment portfolios include our 401k Asset Allocation, Retirement Asset Allocation, Conservative Asset Allocation, Aggressive Asset Allocation, Insightful Asset Allocation, and an Active Asset Allocation portfolio.
Active Asset Allocation uses stock market return extremes to rebalance our portfolio between the Retirement Asset Allocation, Conservative Asset Allocation, Insightful Asset Allocation and Aggressive Asset Allocation depending on the stock market environment.
